Penwortham Cricket Club is thrilled to welcome back Kriston Yearwood as our named professional for 2026.
Kriston, who represented PCC in 2022 as our overseas amateur, made a huge impact, scoring 744 runs at an average just under 40 in 22 games.
He represents his island Montserrat and plays for both Combined Islands and Leeward Islands. Kriston now returns as our professional for 2026 and we are excited to see his talent on display at Middleforth Green once again.

ECB Level 3 Coach
Steve is an ECB Level 3 qualified coach, with many years’ experience in coaching a wide range of cricketers. These include club junior & senior players, District players & County Age Group cricketers.
Steve has previously worked for the Lancashire Cricket Board & delivered courses on behalf of ECB Coach Education. He has also coached at the Old Trafford Indoor School, for a number of years.
In recent years Steve has led on many coaching programmes across the County, including the Liverpool Competition Development Programme, MCC Development Programme (Bolton School Hub) & the Chorley & District Development Programme.
Steve used to play local league cricket for many years, but these days spends time watching his son Matthew, who plays for Essex!
